Two months old today and celebrating Grammie's retirement

Well Gage is two months old today and I just went thru his photo album and it is hard to believe how grown up he is getting. It makes me sad and happy at the same time. Ken and I feel very blessed to have this little angel in our lives. He has started cooing and laughing and loves to kick his legs and move his arms. Tomorrow is a big day because Gage is going to get his shots. I am not excited about that at all. We had a big weekend because Kimberly, Kelly, Chad, Sam, Ken, my Dad and I threw my Mom a retirement party. Thank you to Kelly and Chad for hosting it and Kimberly for always going out of her way to make everything perfect. It was a luau and poor Chad had to cook but he has a very nice new grill (an early wedding gift). After 33 years of teaching, my Mom (Grammie) retired from teaching school. I am not sure if it has sunk in yet but I am sure it will when school starts back up. She is going to be very busy with Gage though. I cannot express how wonderful it is to know that your child is being kept by someone that loves him so much. Grammie and Gage are going to have a lot of fun. Ken and I believe that our little angel will be singing his ABC's before you know it with Grammie, Auntie Kim and Auntie Kelly all being teachers. I am reading to him every night. Austin Knight, a former player of Ken's who just graduated from Denton Ryan High School, gave Gage his first bible. It is wonderful. It has his name on it, great pictures and short little verses from the bible. Thank you for stopping by and keeping up with us. We will have more pictures soon of Gage's Nana and Grandpa Haun and Auntie Kim, Uncle Sam, Auntie Kelly and Uncle Chad. We want you to meet all of our family. It will be a little while before he gets his picture taken with Uncle Justin because he is serving our country in Egypt. God Bless Our Troops and each and every one of you!!

Loved seeing you guys Saturday and that precious baby Gage. Well, I will have to deal with the fact that the first time I touched him he really began to cry--just my lucky touch! I will do better-promise!
Love
Francine

Becky,
Don't tell Ken I said this but Gage looks just like his mommy. He's precious! Next time I head up to Norman I'm going to stop by and see him.
Love to all,
A. Debbie
